LEARN TO CODE FOR MOBILE APPS EASIER THAN YOU THOUGHT
It may sound insane but coding can be done by most people if they apply themselves. It is a bit like math and English mixed together. You have to remember some syntax rules (grammar rules for code languages) but that is about it. It isn't for everyone but I recommend taking a look into it. For some inspiration we have a story about a guy who helped a homeless man learn to code and build an app.

You can also learn how to build iOS apps using the "Hour of Code" app which is free. It is produced by codecademy.
[CodeCademy + PhoneGap]
If you want to build an app but don't want to learn how to code with all sorts of different languages, you can learn the simple web languages that power things like PhoneGap and many other app building tools that allow web programming languages to be used for building or extending their apps.
You can learn html, css, and javascript on CodeCademy. Javascript is extremely powerful these days and can allow manipulations of many elements and make pretty compelling animations with only web elements and no flash is needed for it. You can learn how to do this sort of thing on CodeCademy. When done, head on over to PhoneGap and get started making a killer phone app.
